"Your One Stop Talent Shop!"
Once your song(s) are tracked, overdubbed, and subsequently mixed, stereo mastering is the final process before a song is released to the public. Wherein adjustments are made to the individual mixes where levels are balanced, frequencies receive finishing touches, and any other problems with the mix are ironed-out. If more than one song they are sequenced in their final order. During mastering, EQ, Compression and Level Adjustment are all used to make the separate mixes sound more cohesive and to help the recordings be competitive with other professional music releases. Simply put, in mastering you balance the separate songs, pump up the overall level, brighten and tighten the project with EQ, and then put the songs in order, adjusting the gaps between them. Files submitted should be in the highest resolution available and generally in .WAV or AIF format.
For the best possible masters we recommend removing any pre-mastering processing such as limiting, and keeping the highest peak-level of each song at -3db or less. This will allow us enough headroom to best sculpt the dynamics and over-all sound of your songs. Finished songs are delivered as a down loadable Standard WAV file(s).
